Gurgaon: Delayed long demand from plot owners and home developers in Gurgaon to build rooms and toilets in the carit parking area will likely be approved by the City Department and State Planning (DTCP), TOI has learned.
Also, the request to compensate for the 24% floor area ratio (far) of 264 is permitted, which will be used in installing lifting and building stairs, waiting for the final nod.
In September last year, DTC conducted construction in the carit parking area but with drivers – additional construction will be included in the distance.
However, the plot owner and developer claim that because of the stairs and elevators, which is a public area but included in the distance, they get less space to build a flat.
Therefore they demanded that DTCP provide 24% compensation far from 264 permitted is the total floor area ratio (dirty floor area) with a size of a built-in land.
Last year, the planning department increased the plot measuring 300 square meters up to 264.
For a larger plot, far away was 240.
Director of DTCP KM Pandurang said the two demands had been discussed at the department level, “but the final decision was still delayed”.
The source said the final approval was waiting at the Haryana CM level.
Home developers and plot owners have welcomed their developments.
Former President of the Gurgaon Home Developer and Plot Association, Ramesh Singla said, “At present, only carit parking and the basement released from afar.” A DTCP official said that the demand for developers was long waiting, in the absence of some violations in the past, “under active considerations and the possibility of being approved”.
