Ludhiana: Police Commissioner Ludhiana has ordered an investigation into allegations against police number 6 because of keeping a little girl at the police station last night against the orders of the local court.
The girl’s family also accused that the investigative officer in this case made the girl in illegal custody at least three days after recovery.
The family also met Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar on Saturday afternoon after which the police directed directed commissioners with the police (rural) Ravardan Singh Brar to submit a report on this matter.
The mother of the 16-year-old girl claimed that her daughter had been kidnapped by a man with a wedding pretext on January 19.
Five days later, the police filed firefighters at the bottom of 363 and 366-A from the IPC.
According to the mother, the police did not mention the age of the girl in FIR.
“Around 6pm on January 29, I received a call from the ASI Investigation Officer Sona Singh that the girl had recovered.
He asked us to visit the police station to meet with their daughter.
We immediately rushed to the police station, but my daughter and Io were present there.
We asked other police officials, but they did not tell us anything.
We approached a child’s rights activist who knew from IO that the police had sent the girl to the defendant and also received a medical examination from the girl and His statement with the absence of parents, “said the mother.
He said, “On February 3, the court polared the police to send the girl to the prisoner of the Child Welfare Committee on the day itself.
However, the police made my daughter at the police station and also did not allow us to meet the girl.
On February 4, too, too, too, We continued to stand outside the police station late at night.
Even though my daughter was inside, we were not allowed to enter the police station.
“After that when this problem arrived at Knowledge Toi in about 11 a night, a senior police officer was contacted next to check this problem.
After the intervention of senior officials, the police number 6 division took the girl to the child’s house in Doraha late at night.
Commissioner with the police (rustic) Ravokaran Singh Brar said, “Police Commissioner has asked me to see this problem.
I checked this problem and the officers who erred would be taken to the task, if he was found guilty.”
