The long detour for Gamanagatti leaves industrialist irritably

Hubballi: Apart from many expansive statements conducted by political leaders who repeat government support to the industrial sector, the situation in the field is not the same conducive to industrial growth.
The situation in the Gamanagatti industrial area, where there are more than 100 companies that functions to employ thousands of people, is for example.
Employees are forced to travel an additional distance from almost 10 km every day due to the failure of the Karnataka Industrial Zone Development Agency (Kiadb) to build a service road next to the Hubballi-Dharwad Bypass Street.
This has forced people to travel between Hubballi and Gamanagatti through Tarihal.
Industrialists attacked on Kiadb because it failed to ensure the right connectivity after allocating sites for the factory.
President Green Tech Park, an industrialist association in Gamanagatti, Nagaraj Spid told TII that they had demanded the construction of direct roads from Junction bypass Tarihal for the past five years.
“If the service road is built, we have to travel only 0.8 km from the Tarihal intersection.
We have appealed to the main secretary and MLA local, but it doesn’t work.
Even though the government is indeed a sanction of RS 8 Crore for the project, the work has never happened starting at Road.
Kiadb officials have assured us to floating the tender for the road.
The government has planned a six lane bypass, and we have demanded that the 100-foot service built.
Officials in the Public Works Department have it convinced us to combine service roads in the plan, “said SPID.
PM Veeresha Sharma, an industrialist with a factory in Gamanagatti, said that the long detour that commuter must eat every day is a nightmare experience, especially those who connect the Tarihal and Gamanagatti industrial area.
“The heavy vehicle movement has risen sharply at the Junction Junction.
Because of the sad conditions, many investors are reluctant to start their units here, and customers are hesitant to provide the industry here.
Gamanagatti is only 5 km from Hubballi Airport., But we have to do it 9km trip.
This is a big burden, both in terms of costs and time, which must be borne by industrialists, “Sharma said.
Mla Arvind Bellad, under the constituency of Garantatti Estate Industrial Estate fell, acknowledging the need to develop infrastructure soon in the area.
“We have thrown the idea, and filed a memorandum to Jagadish Shettar, which is an industrial minister.
But we are uncertain if the proposal is under active consideration now,” Bellad said.
Assistant Secretary Zone Dharwad Kiadb Sanjeev Uppar, however, said he did not know such a request.
He suggested that Kiadb, Deputy Development Dharwad Zone KM Mohan Kumar might have an answer.
However, both Kumar and Kiadb Belagavi, the development zone of Charge TS Lakshmeesha answered repeated calls and messages.
