Rajkot: A 16-year-old girl from Junagadh, who has gone to Delhi to meet his lover from Bihar, was saved by Junagadh police and handed over to his parents.
According to the police, the girl from the Madhuram area in Junagadh City lost four days ago.
He also took cash along with him.
His parents approached the police and filed a complaint of missing people.
“Supervision and technical investigation revealed that the girl was in Delhi and we reminded the train police there.
He was found at the train station and we sent our team together with the girl’s parents to Delhi and took him back to Junagadh,” said Pradeepsinh Jadeja , Deputy police supervisor, Junagadh.
As long as the question, the girl revealed that she went to Delhi to meet her lover who came from Bihar.
“Grade XI students contacted the young man from Bihar through social media and fell in love with him.
The young man asked him to come to Delhi by saying he would take him to his home village.
The girl took the train and reached Delhi where he was waiting for him,” police said.
“We advised him about the seriousness of this problem and asked him to focus on the study,” police said.
