Nagpur: For the second time, the city records the lowest temperature of the season on Saturday when the minimum temperature drops to 7.6 degrees Celsius.
Previously, on December 21 last year, Nagpur has recorded the same temperature.
As reported by Toi, it was the coldest December 21 in the last 20 years.
According to regional meteorological center officials (RMC), Nagpur, the decline in temperature was caused by winds from North India where the temperature was very low.
The Met Department shows that Gonda is the coldest in the region on Saturday, with a minimum temperature of 7.4 degrees Celsius.
It’s almost seven degrees below normal temperatures.
The highest minimum temperature is recorded in yavatmal at 10.5 degrees Celsius.
While the meeting department recently issued a warning for cold waves, officials said that there was no further warning for decreased temperature or rainfall had been issued.
As per local weather forecast, the minimum Nagpur temperature is expected to increase from January 31 and remain close to 13 degrees Celsius.
“Temperature will increase in early February,” added officials.
