The Maharashtra government can extend a 50% discount in a premium for builders until March 31

Mumbai: With agents such as MHADA, a slum rehabilitation authority (SRA) and acceptance of BMC records in 2021, the state government can extend a 50% discount in premiums for several months.
The 50% discount scheme has ended on December 31.
A senior official said Urban Development (UD) is likely to re-introduce a scheme in the Country Cabinet and can be extended for the current financial quarter until March 31, 2022.
The state government in January 2021, issued a construction premium for government resolution deduction (GR) paid by the builder Up to 50% after the Cabinet approved the proposal.
According to the gr issued by the urban development department, the builder must pay a premium based on the level of READ Reckoner (RR) 2019 or 2020, which is higher.
Developers who choose to take advantage of discounts must provide efforts to local bodies that they will pay all stamp duty and do not charge the cost of the house buyer.
Discounts are only on premiums, not on the cost of development and CESS, but apply to ongoing and new projects.
This scheme is only valid until December 31, 2021.

The committee recommends a 50% discount for all of these premiums throughout the board, not only for the city but the whole country.
