Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) late on Saturday was raided in the Mahim Beach area, capturing drug vendors and restored Hashish worth Rs 10 Lakh from Him.
Meanwhile, NCB also found several youth groups, dozens of teenagers and young men, pampering themselves in illegal and rounded 15 of them.
Then, these teenagers were taken face to face with their parents.
The NCB team led by zonal director Sameer Wankhede landed at the mahim and arrested drug vendors, Shamim Nagor.
The agency also restored Hashish worth Rs 10 lakh from Him.
“He cleared drugs in the Mahim region to teenagers and young men,” said the NCB source.
Shamim has been ordered under the NDPS law.
“We have received several emails from the Mahim region complaining about the threat of the drug.
The population delegation has also met with NCB officers and asks them to eradicate drug problems from their area.
Some NCB teams are working on the suspect’s tip.” Sumber NCB said.
At Mahim Beach, NCB found teenagers and young men in large quantities.
During observation, NCB found the behavior of some young men was profitable.
Youths are expressed for the adverse effects of drug abuse.
Some parents are called and children are brought in dealing with their parents.
“We advised the youth, between the aged 15 years, 20 years, about the consequences of using drugs.
We also offer our help to connect parents with several NGOs if they have plans to send their children to the center of rehab,” the officer said.
The initial investigation found that Peddler Shamim said that the drugs to many young people in the area and slowly made them addicted to drugs.
“This addiction will burden the user, their families and the community as a whole because there is no positive effect of drug use,” added NCB officers.
The young men were warned and sent home by NCB.
