Chandrapur: The main defendant in the case of a local Raghuwanshi complex shot was arrested from Chhindara in Madhya Pradesh in joint operation by local crime branches and Chandrapur police on Wednesday.
The defendant Chhotu Suryawanshi (24) was an attacker who was dressed in himself as a woman in the burqa and had shot Aakash Andhewar a few days ago.
LCB PI Balasaheb Khade said the police got a clue about the main allegations that fled to Madhya Pradesh and had sent the team afterwards.
He was rounded out from Chhindwara on Wednesday morning and was taken here later in the afternoon.
Khade claimed that Chhotu was a person who had a gun with him and had opened fire on Andhewar to return the murder of his friend and Mafia Kingpin Suraj Bahuriya last year.
The police have also recovered the country-made gun used in crime.
Based on the information provided by Accusing Suryawanhi, the police have restored firearms from where he throws it.
Suryawanwanshi along with other charges of Amit Sonkar, who was arrested on Tuesday, was produced in front of the court and was sent in police custody until July 16.
The number of defendants in the case of the shooting of Mal Raghuwanshi has now increased to three.
