Kenosha: Kyle Rittenhouse, who was 18-year-old accused killing two men and injuring others during racial justice protests in Wisconsin Kenosha last year, taking witnesses standing at his trial on Wednesday and a risky and dramatic testimony.
Rittenhouse, charged to the murder of Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, and Anthony Huber, 26, and who hurt Gaige Grosskreutz, 27, has begged innocently and said he acted to defend himself.
Here are some important moments of the trial: November.
10 – Rittenhouse testified that Rosenbaum twice threatened to kill him and ambushed him before their last meeting.
Rittenhouse strike struggled when he remembered the events immediately before he shot Rosenbaum, pushing the judge to call for the recess.
After returning to the stand, Rittenhouse testified that Rosenbaum demanded him, told the jury, “I remember his hand on my weapon barrel.” Rittenhouse told prosecution during a cross examination: “I did what I had to do to stop the person who attacked me.” He claimed to use a deadly power but said he had no intention of killing anyone.
November 9 – Nicholas Smith, who protected a used car dealer, said he spoke with Rittenhouse after he shot three people, describing it as nervous, sweating and pale.
“He repeats:” I just shot someone, “repeatedly,” Smith said.
November 8 – Gaige Grosskreutz, 27, the only protesters shot by Rittenhouse to survive, testify that he had directed the Glock gun in the direction of Rittenhouse and only advanced to teenagers as the last choice because he thought he would “die.” Under a cross-examination by defense, Grosskreutz said Rittenhouse did not shoot when his hand rose and only did it when he moved towards Rittenhouse with his gun pointing at him.
“Not until you appoint your gun to him, forward, with your gun, now your hands point to him, that he was fired, right?” Tanya Corey Chirafisi, Rittenhouse lawyer.
“Right,” answered Grosskreutz.

November 5 – Jason Lackowski, former Marines, with Rittenhouse on the night of the shooting.
Before the shooting, Lackowski said Rosenbaum had mocked him and other gunmen.
Lackowski answered “No” when asked if he considered Rosenbaum who was not armed with a threat.
November 4 – Richie McGinniss – Chief Video Director of Daily Callers, Conservative Website – Rosenbaum said shouting when he advanced towards Rittenhouse in the parking lot of a used car dealer and then hit the young man’s semi-automatic rifle.
Ryan Balch, a military veteran who was among the armed people with Rittenhouse at a used car dealer, testified that Rosenbaum acted in a “violence” that night, threw a stone.
November 3 – Video is a witness witness on the second day of the trial.
The jury saw a series of graphic videos showing chaotic moments after Rittenhouse shot three protesters, including one person who lay motionless and bleeding and the others shouted when blood gushed from his arm.
The jury was also shown by Rittenhouse’s video escape from the shooting of Rosenbaum and was chased by the crowd of protesters, some of them shouted things like “get it” before he had a series of violent meetings.
November 2 – Juror hears the opening argument.
Prosecutors played Rittenhouse a vigilante killer, repeated seven times that teenagers were the only people who shot anyone that night.
The defense said Rittenhouse opened a fire in defending himself and responded to the attack by a horde.
