The majority clearly wants to be guaranteed legally: survey

New Delhi: Ivers-Cvoter conducts polls throughout India to find out what ordinary Indians think about demand by agricultural leaders that parliament must pass a new law with legal support prices.
To this day, the government provides MSP for 23 plants.
More than 61 percent of respondents seem to agree with the legally guaranteed MSP requests, with only 21 percent against it.
It is hoped that the higher part of the opposition voter supports this demand than the NDA voter.
But more than 54 percent of NDA supporters agreed with requests.
Respondents then asked related questions if they would agree with similar requests made by other farmers for legally guaranteed MSP on foods such as milk, fruits, vegetables, eggs, chickens and the like.
Close to 70 percent of respondents explained that they would agree with this request if it appeared.
More than 63 percent of NDA supporters agreed with this hypothetical request.
Concerns have been submitted about the ability of the government to improve resources and finance to buy all food grains and horticulture products at prices guaranteed legally.
But respondents did not seem to share this worries.
62.6 percent suggest that the government be able to pay MSP which is legally guaranteed for all plants.
The majority of opposition supporters also agreed.
Is India, then, witnessed the return of populism with all my heart?
