Noida: A 23-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping a 13-year-old girl in Noida, officials told on Friday.
According to the police, the incident took place on January 9 and the defendant, who had been identified as Pramod, was on his way since then.
Both the girl and the man arrested lived in the same village.
Uttam Kumar, Sho of Sector 142 Police Station said, “The complaint was given at the station by a small brother who stated that his sister had gone to a shop in the village on January 9 at night when Pramod, who lived in the same village, was kidnapped and raped it.
The little girl then returned home and narrated her trials to family members.
