Gurgaon: A man was arrested for allegedly falsify his own abduction and demanded Rs 2 lakh from his wife.
Police said, the defendant who was under debt and pressure to pay off money, planned his own abduction to demand money from his wife.
“He sent a message to his wife from an unknown number and demanded a ransom for his safe release,” said a police officer.
