Mumbai: A 34-year-old man who suspected his wife’s wife, stabbed their 12-year-old girl and escaped from the place.
The incident took place on Wednesday night at Chembur (W).
Police Tilak Nagar has registered a case of attempts to kill against Kamlesh Solanki for trying to kill his daughter, Bhakti.
Solanki, who worked in a different place, suspected his wife’s infidelity.
This causes family problems between the two.
Fed up with a fight, Solanki’s wife, Mamta, went to her mother’s place at Mulund with her daughter.
The incident occurred when he returned home.
“Solanki attacked the girl with a knife five times around 9.45 a night on Wednesday at Siddharth Nagar in Chembur.
He escaped from the place.
Mamta and neighbors rushed Bleeding Bhakti to the hospital where he was treated,” said an officer from the police station.
