Hyderabad: A man was sentenced to three days on Monday by a local court to provide wrong complaints.
According to police Banjara Hills, on Saturday, the defendant was then (37) from Nandi Nagar, twisted number 100 and claimed that his brother had been killed by his parents.
When the police rushed to the place, they found that it was a wrong complaint.
The caller brother died a month ago because of poor health.
The police said that the defendant claimed he had turned at 100 for fun.
To make a complaint wrong, an e-petty case was registered by the police.
When the defendant was produced in front of the court, the judge sentenced him to three days in prison.
