Ghaziabad: Special Pocso Court on Tuesday sentenced a man 23 years to 20 years to rape a six-year-old girl at her home in Khoda.
The court also imposed a fine of RS 30,000, where RS 20,000 will be given to children.
The incident occurred in October last year.
Special Judge (Act Pocso) Harshvardhan found the man, who was associated with the girl, guilty of rape, home violations and criminal intimidation.
The father’s father had approached the police and forgery for the kidnapping registered on October 29, 2020, at the Khoda police station.
Special Public Prosecutor (ACT Pocso) Excellent Utkarsh said: “The girl’s father said that around 4:30 p.m.
on October 29 last year, he and his wife had gone for some work, leaving their two children, a 10-year-old son and the girl At home.
The man accused entered the house and drove the boy.
He then sexually attacked the girl.
The child told the incident to his parents after they returned home.
The accusation threatened the girl by saying that he would strangle him to death He spoke to anyone about it.
“Then, FIR below the IPC 452, 376AB, 506 and below 5/6 of the Pocso Law was registered at the Khoda Police Station.
Overall six eyewitnesses were heard in this case.
The defendant was awarded an imprisonment of 20 years and the court slapped the fine of RS 20,000 fine below 5/6 of the Pocso Law, a strict three-year prison term and a fine of RS 5,000 was charged under the IPC 452 section.
Two years in prison and RS 5,000 had been Implemented under the IPC part 506.
All sentences will run together.
Since his arrest, the defendant has been submitted in Dasna Jail.
The time spent in prison will be adjusted to the last sentence.
