Lucknow: A man who allegedly killed his aunt, the wife of the provincial civil service officer (PC), and then hung himself in the talkator area here, said the police on Tuesday.
The incident took place on Monday when Anita Verma (43) was killed by his niece Ajit (38), which was declared in depression, they said.
While Anita suffocated with the bathroom pipe, Ajit hung her in her room, police said.
The bodies recovered after the victim’s son saw them and then told his father Ghanshyam, which was posted as a general inspector’s assistant, registration in Allahabad.
The police said that the body was sent for postmortem and detailed probes into this problem ongoing.
