Kanpur: Video that will surely give a pointed one has made a round on social media since Tuesday morning.
In the video, a man wearing a sleeveless shirt can be seen sticking to the hood of a white speed for almost 5 km on the Jajmau-Ramadevi flyover in the Chokeri area in the city.
The date and time of the incident have not been confirmed because no one approaches the police with complaints now.
Taking knowing Viral videos, the police, meanwhile, have initiated an investigation and asked for help from the people to nail the culprit.
Local sources told the Toi that the incident occurred on Monday night after the DCM truck collided with a white car at Jajmau-Ramadevi Flyover.
Immediately, the residents of the car signed a fight with the DCM truck driver and officer.
The problem was increasing and the driver of the car tried to hit the truck cleaner standing in front of them, but somehow he jumped to the hood and grabbed the eraser tightly.
After this, the residents accelerate the car on the flyover.
The police said that during a preliminary investigation, it discussed that dangerous actions were witnessed at Jajmau-Ramadevi Flyover in the Chake area.
Locals further said that at first, they thought that the incident was the result of a kind of action, but when they asked about it with some other people in the area, they confirmed that the incident was the impact of anger, where a fight had been happens between car residents and drivers and DCM truck cleaners after a collision.
While the man who adheres to the hood continues to shout and begged his life, the driver of the car drove the vehicle and made him driving almost five km at high speed.
Some people passed, who were witnesses to the incident, fired videos and then made him viral on social media.
The video has caused a massive anger between netizens, who asked the police to take strict action against the car driver.
DCP East Anoop Singh has issued a statement where he has asked people to advance and help the police.
“Investigations at our level are ongoing, but we have also asked people to advance and help researchers identify victims and defendants.
We also tried to confirm the four-wheeled number plate with the help of CCTV cameras.
The identity of the person who will provide information will be kept confidential,” said DCP.
