Mangaluru: North Mangaluru police have arrested a defendant, who was ordered two decades ago, on charges of theft, and under the Wild Life Protection Act, on Tuesday.
The defendant was Zakaria, 45, from Bajigoli in Karkala.
The LPC command was issued against him.
In trusted information about its existence, a team consisting of Inspector Raghavendra M Byndoor, OMDAS and Kumar’s Sticky ASI picked up the defendant from Karkala, and produced it before the court.
He has been returned in court detention.
