Madurai: A 40-year-old man was arrested in Madurai District in Tamil Nadu on Friday to sell marijuana.
The police confiscated two kg of marijuana from the defendant, identified as T Stalin, 40, from Bharathi Nagarin in Thaneri.
The police received a tip-off that marijuana was being sold in a crematorium in Thaneri.
A team led by John’s sub-inspector get there and do a search.
When he saw the police, Stalin tried to escape.
But they caught it.
He was taken to the executive police station, where a case was registered against him.
He was returned in judicial custody.
