Trichy: A man has been arrested for raping and impregnating a little girl in the Golden Rock Trichy area.
The crime was revealed after the girl, studied at a college, gave birth to a baby boy at her house a few days ago.
Police Golden Rock All-Woman posted S Suryaprakash aka Suryaprakash, under the protection section of children from sexual violations (Pocso) acting and arresting it on Tuesday.
Suryaprakash, everyday breadwinner, and the girl loves each other.
He sexually attacked the girl several times and impressed him.
When he knew that he was pregnant, he averved it.
The girl gave birth to a baby boy in the bathroom at her house on December 23.
His parents were at home when the baby was born.
His father cut off the navel cord with a knife.
Parents took him and a baby to the primary health center (PHC) from where he was referred to the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital.
“When the girl experienced sexual violence by the defendant, he was 17 years old and a few months.
He was 18 years old during childbirth.
Because he experienced sexual abuse when he was underage, we ordered men under the Act Pocso and arrest him,” said a police officer.
