Ahmedabad: A man who wants to roam in the city during the curfew, repairing a red-and-blue flare used by the police in his car, but landed in the police locking on Saturday.
According to FIR submitted with the Nikol Polda, the police stationed at Nikol-Kathwada Road were checking the vehicle during the curfew on Saturday night.
At that time, they saw a car with a red-and-blue flare on it.
The police asked the driver to stop the vehicle.
When the police inspected the car, they found a police flare, which was expelled to have been installed to move freely during the curfew.
The man was identified as a Rupesh Barot, 26, a resident of Singarwa, could not produce permission to show that he had a license to keep the flare.
In the main question, he told the police that he wanted to roam at night, disguised himself as a police officer.
