The man was arrested on charges of killing his wife at Pimpri Chinchwad

Pune: Police Pimpri Chinchwad on Saturday night arrested a 26-year-old man for hampering his wife to death in Chandkhed Village at Maval Taluka.
Police have identified victims as Changuna Jadhav (20).
They arrested her husband, Yogesh Jadhav, under Section 302 (punishment for murder) from Indian Code.
An officer from Shirgaon Police Chowkey said that Changuna’s father, Shivaji Thakar, had submitted a report of the first information (FIR) on Saturday.
“Thakar has accused Firite that Yogesh His son-in-law harassed Changuna after he gave birth to their daughter,” the police said.
He added that the couple had a six-month daughter.
“In early early Saturday, when Changuna was sleeping, Yogesh strangled him to death,” the officer said.
He said that Yogesh was arrested later at night.
“Our investigation is active,” added police officers.
