Mangaluru: In a tragic and strange incident reported in Addahole in Shiradi Kadaba Taluk Village, a 43-year-old man died at that place, after a tree fell on him on Sunday.
The deceased was Suresh Navada, who worked for Bengaluru IBM, police said.
He, along with his wife Rashmin Sequeira and children arrived at Pavanje on December 23, to spend time with family.
They traveled back to Bommanahalli in Bengaluru on Sunday.
They left home at 5:30 a.m., and when they reached Addahole at 7:30 a.m., they heard a voice from the car.
Suresh immediately stopped the car and went down to check what was wrong, when a tree from the forest area was ordered to fall to him, kill him in place.
The car was destroyed because the tree fell on it.
His wife and children escaped were not hurt.
