Rajkot: almost four years after he married love in his life, 25-year-old diamond polish was killed brutally after being kidnapped, allegedly by his wife’s relatives because they never approved their marriage.
The incident occurred in Gadhada Taluka from the bottle district on Monday.
The victim’s body of Jaysukh Bhalia, a resident of Limbali at Gadhda Taluka, was found about 15 km from his village on Monday morning.
The police said Jaysukh was brutally beaten and his head hit a heavy stone.
According to the complaint submitted by Jaysukh Ashok Sankalia (25), four people had kidnapped Jaysukh on Sunday night when they went on his motorcycle from Itariya to limpali.
Ashok said that four included Vijay Zapadia, Jaysukh’s wife’s wife, his cousin – Mavji Zapadia, Subhash Zapadia, and one unknown person.
The defendant, all the residents of Nani Kundal in Babra Taluka from Amreli, were in runaway.
“When I dropped Jaysukh to his village, his fourth relatives came in the car and sent us.
They began to beat us with sticks and pipes and forced Jaysukh into the car and escape,” Ashok said in his complaint.
After the attack, Ashok approached the Gadhada police and filed a kidnapping complaint.
However, on Monday morning the police found Jaysukh’s body with several signs of injury and head crashing around 15 km from where he was kidnapped on Sunday night.
The police then added the IPC part 302 (murder) to the kidnapping complaints submitted by Ashok.
Jaysukh survived by Sheet his wife and a two-year-old son.
Both Jaysukh and Sheetal belonging to the village of Nani Kundal in Babra.
While Sheetal’s father is a good farmer, Jaysukh comes from a humble background.
They fell in love and married four years ago and shifted to the village of Limbali where he began working as a diamond scourer.
“The Sheetal family was not happy with his marriage to Jaysukh.
So the young couple moved to limbali.
We are investigating why Jaysukh’s in-laws attack him after four years,” police officers investigated this case.
All who were accused of in this case were the escape team and the police were looking for them.
