MySuru: A man who runs an internet cafe died in a strange fire incident at his home in Kr Nagar on Tuesday.
The police have ruled out the rotten game in his death.
Abhishek, 31, from Valmiki Nagar at Kr Nagar, was found dead in his room at the beginning of the day.
His body caught fire in part, and the police confirmed he died in a fire accident.
Initially, it was alleged that Abhishek died after his cellphone exploded, but then ruled out.
Police sources said the man was under the influence of alcohol and might go to sleep with a burning cigarette in his hand.
This might have ignited the fire that swallowed a bed where he was sleeping.
The spoon near the bed is also really burned.
This has caused doubts that he may have died of electric shock or explosion of cellphones.
Cesc officer, who examined the scene, has confirmed that there is no short circuit or explosion of any device connected to the electrical socket, the police said Kr Nagar.
