Nashik: A 40-year-old worker was killed for a small reason in the Panchavati area in the city on Friday night.
The Panchavati police have arrested 35-year-old workers in connection with the murder.
The defendant has been identified as Pandit Raghunath Gaikwad aka Pandya aka Langda, a resident of Trapbakeshwar.
According to the police, the victims of the killings were identified when Sunil and his friends on the path in the Panchavati area on Friday night where Gaikwad, who did not have a relationship with Sunil, began to demand Rs 20 of the last.
When Sunil refused to give him money, the pandit tarnished his throat with a knife cutter.
Witnesses with Pandit fled from the scene.
Sunil was found lying unconscious near Katya Maruti Chowk.
He immediately rushed to Nashik civil hospital where he was declared dead.
Panchavati police under the Inspector in the Severer Kolhe in action and arrested the Gaikwad Pandit from the park in the Panchavati area.
Until Saturday night, the identity of murder victims was not confirmed.
The police only knew that the name of the victim was Sunil and he took small work work to make a living.
This is the second murder in the city in less than 48 hours.
A middle-aged person allegedly killed a 50-year-old hotel worker, Anil Gaidhani, during WEE Thursday in the city of Sarkarwada area.
The police have arrested the suspect, who allegedly hit the victim’s head with a large stone that caused the last death in place.
