Patna: At least one person was shot dead and five others, including a police officer, was injured in the crossprises of indiscriminately between two groups above the small parking dispute in the village of Sandalpur under the Bazaar Kasim Police Station area on Wednesday at around 11pm.
The victim was identified as Raju Kumar aka Bajrangi.
Police Patna Police Arvind Yadav, Goal Yadav, Sawan Yadav, Anjula Kumari and One Munna Yadav was injured in the incident.
Sho of Kasim Bazaar Police Station Dharmendra Kumar said at least 20 rounds were fired by both groups.
“One group comes from prospective candidates for the GP Yadav man who has organized the ’tilated’ ceremony in the village.
Some guests have reached his residence from sandalpurs and neighboring areas.
The bicycle guests parked on the village road that caused a dispute,” said Sho.
