The man who strangled his wife to death suspected his loyalty

Coimbatore: A 36-year-old man was arrested for strangling his wife to death in their homes in Ganapathy here on Wednesday as long as the battle of his cellphone was excessive.
Saravanampatti police said Chellaiya used to fight with his 28-year-old wife Uma Devi, a mother of two children, for talking to her friends for hours.
“He asked him to stop the use of an excessive cellphone several times, but he refused to listen to it.
So, the couple often compete for this problem,” said a police officer.
“On Tuesday night, the officer said Chellaiya saw his wife talking to his friends by telephone when he returned from the office and fighting with him.
On Wednesday morning too, they took a fight and in the heat when he strangled him with his sari,” The officer said.
Hearing his commotion, the neighbors rushed to the house and reminded Saravanampatti police, who recovered and sent the body to the College Medical Coimbatore (CMCH) Hospital for Postmortem.
During the question, Chelaiya claimed to be a crime and said he had suspected his wife’s loyalty.
“When he always spoke by telephone, he thought he had an extra-marriage affair,” the officer said.
The police have ordered Chellaiya under Section 302 (murder) from the Criminal Code and produced it before Judicial Judge, who returned it in Judicial custody.Tnn
