The man who was questioned by Nia in the case of Gunrunning Khalistan killed himself

MEERUT: Two days after the NIA interrogation session for alleged Khalistan’s clothing link, the night guard from Hastinapur killed himself.
Paramjit Singh, 35, works at the dairy farm in Hastinapur.
The arrest of the alleged Gunrunner of Punjab, Gagandeep Singh, on July 6 lead a trail that caused Paramjit.
Gagandeep has been booked in Punjab for allegedly supplying weapons to a man named Aarsh, it is believed to be close to the head of the Head of Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) which is prohibited, Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
The weapon was said to have been used for extortion.
The Ministry of Home Affairs of the Ministers in January identified the KTF among clothing, Nia had to investigate “conspiracy to create an atmosphere of fear and violations of the law and cause dissatisfaction with people and incite to the increasing indian rebellion against the Indian government”.
Gagandeep appointed Nia to Paramjit and another man, Asif Ali, who was arrested on July 10 with two 0.315 firearms made by the country and 10 Live Rounds.
A day later, Paramjit was called to be questioned.
“During search (at Paramjit’s House in Hastinapur’s Dudhali Khadar), cash of Rs 9 lakh, cellular phones and burdensome documents recovered,” said the July 11 Nia statement.
“Paramjit was taken away by Nia on July 11 and released the next day.
He was called again on July 14.
Then, Monday (July 19), he was asked to reach the Nia Chandigarh office to record the statement.
We arrived there and he was with them (officials Nia) for five hours, “said Paramjit’s father Ajit Singh.
That night, they left Chandigarh.
“(When we left,) Nia officer told me that they had ‘explained everything’ to Paramjit.
All through the trip home I did everything I could to make him talk about what happened.
He won’t talk.” On Tuesday night He went to the dairy farm where he worked.
A few hours later, he was found to lie down unconscious, maybe by someone who passed.
“He was still alive when he was taken to the hospital.
The doctors said he had consumed pesticides,” said the Hastinapur police station Ak Singh.
One hour later, his father Ajit received a call.
Ajit said, “That was from the hospital, told me my son had died.” His body has been sent for autopsy.
