Kanpur: The Mayor of the City of Kanpur, Pramila Pandey from BJP, has submitted a complaint with Nagar Swarup Police accusing President Shiv Sena and Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray using a degrading language to ride CM Yogi Adityanath.
The police have registered complaints as non-cognitive reports (NCR).
Complaints refer to the comments of 2018 Thackeray who went viral on social media as soon as the UNI Minister Narayan Rane on Tuesday was arrested for comments ‘CM Slap’.
In a video clip that has been sent with complaints submitted with Kanpur police, Thackeray can be heard saying that Yogi Adityanath must be beaten with Chappal.
Mayor Pandey said, “Uddhav Thackeray has made a comment insulting about CM Yogi Adyityath, and I have filed a police complaint against him.” He added, “he (Uddhav) enjoyed his father’s inheritance and had not worked hard himself.” Ashwini Pandey, Inspector at the Sawarup Nagar Police Station, said the complaint was registered as NCR.
Rane has a press conference on Wednesday called Uddhav Thackeray’s comments against Yogi Adityanath and asked if it was not a crime.
