The MCG panel pushed for a 67% increase in parking rates

Gurgaon: This committee is suffered by corporation of Gurgaon City (MCG) to improve the level of garden maintenance in the city has recommended a rise of almost 67% of Rs 3 per square meter (SQM) to Rs 5 square meters.
While Rwas said the existing level for maintenance, the committee said that the cost was revised in accordance with the level of deputy commissioner (DC) to be given to a gardener.
The committee, consisting of MCG officials and several council members, was based on the last house meeting held on July 31.
In the meeting, the council members said the gardener in Gurgaon, at least Rs 20,000 per month.
According to reports delivered by the panel to MCG, if the gardener is used according to the DC level, the park maintenance level must be Rs 5 per square meter.
Of this number, Rs 4 will be spent on gardeners’ salaries and RS 1 on gardening tools.
The report will be submitted at the next home meeting.
“The increase has been proposed in accordance with labor law.
In Rs 5 per square meter, the EPF component and ESI in a salary of a gardener, in addition to gardening tools, can be closed.
Park maintenance has suffered because efficient gardener is not affordable at the existing level,” said Subhash Yadav, Nodal Officer from the MCG environment and sustainability wing.
According to the report, Gurgaon has a total of 875 parks, where 831 parks are maintained by the RWAS and Environment Committee.
These parks have a total area of 24,61,980 square meters.
While most council members supported the increase, Rwas opposed the decision.
“We submitted a memorandum to the recent MCG Commissioner, where we asked for garden maintenance to be maintained by Rwas.
Moreover, the other points we make is that Rs 3 square meters is enough to maintain the park.
Board members want a price increase because a member member is The head of the committee that maintains the park, and corruption is the only motive.
Hike in tariffs will mean a waste of public money, “said Udaybir Yadav, President Sector 10a Rwa.
“We have maintained our garden very well.
We don’t see the need to increase the level,” said Puneet Pahwa, General Secretary of Sector 45 Rwa.
