Gurgaon: Municipal law enforcement team (MCG) has been asked to submit certificates on illegal encroachment and construction status in their region every month.
Certificate – To be delivered by team leaders to the Head of the Civic Body – must mention that the area below them is free of all types of encroachment and even if there is illegal construction recently, drives demolition has been carried out.
The decision to make the enforcement team responsible for unauthorized construction was taken at a meeting on Thursday.
Head of MCG Mukesh Kumar Ahuja directed the commissioner together and the charges of the enforcement team to ensure that there was no land within the boundaries of the corporations.

Ahuja said the law enforcement team did not only stop to issue notice to violators, but follow up on them tightly.
He also swept the problem of illegal flats in the MCG area and asked the commissioners together to conduct an investigation.
Speaking of a limited area around the Depot Ammunition IAF in Sector 14, Head of MCG said that it has banned all the closest construction in line with the recent order by the Punjab High Court and Haryana.
Ahuja also insisted that the team of his team will ensure no construction has occurred in the area.
