Thiruvananthapuram: Civil supply and legal metrology department jointly held attacks in meat shops after complaints that more shops for meat products.
In the attack carried out in district cases registered with 24 stores.
The supply officer of the Jalaja G S district said the RAID was carried out in 143 stores in various parts based on certain complaints.
He said two shops had been asked to update their licenses and warnings have been issued for 117 stores.
Officials have given strict instructions to the shops that the price of beef should not exceed RS 380.
In various stores it was found that the price between Rs 370 and Rs 400.
Likewise the price of broiler chicken has been repaired as Rs 250.
This is naked between Rs 250 and RS 270.
For live chickens the price should be less than RS 165.
Officials told the owner that the price list must be displayed in front of the shops and excessive discovered stores will be canceled.
The civil supply officials said that the raids would be continued in the coming days also in different places.
Special forces have been formed by the two departments at the signal level to carry out raids.
