The Microsoft team might soon get a feature that allows you to use your phone as a walkie talkie

Microsoft is working on new features for team video applications.
This will hold a functionality of Push-to-Talk Walkie Talkie on the Microsoft team in the future.
Visible by TechRadar, the company has updated Microsoft Roadmap 365 which states the coming features called “Microsoft Teams: Walkie Talkie in Teams Phones”.
This feature will be launched in September this year.
After the feature is launched, Microsoft team users will be able to use their smartphone as Walkie Talkie.
This will work on cellular and wireless connections.
The Walkie Talkie feature in the team was first discussed in a blog post by Emma Williams, a vice president of a modern vertical company in Microsoft in January this year.
He then said that his functionality would be built natively into a team.
This will help reduce the number of devices that must be carried by employees, and reduce costs for it.
With new features, customers no longer need to worry about crosstalk or eavesdropping from outsiders.
And since Walkie Talkie works through Wi-Fi or cellular data, it can be used in all geographical locations, he said.
This new feature will be available in the Team mobile app.
It will be useful specifically for any industrial frontline workers.
This will be integrated with the Thesamsung Galaxy Xcover Pro.
Earlier this year, Samsung showed how the Microsoft Walkie Talkie team could be used in the Galaxy Xcover Pro.
With collaboration, the two companies aim to provide frontline workers one device one device, work anywhere.
This will combine instant push-to-talk communication from two-way radios and flexible cloud-based workflow application arrangements.
