Guwahati: About 2,000 Cooperative Milk makers in Morigaon Regency Central Assam have helped venture schools, who face acute financial problems in running a higher middle class.
Ranjib Sarma, Chair of the Society Cooperative Society Sitarajakha, said the milkmaker has decided to donate 15 Paise the price of one liter of milk to Sitajakhala high school to run a higher secondary part (11 and 12) to the province.
“Section of the secondary school (grade 6 to 10) province (taken over by the government) in 1986.
However, a higher secondary level is still operating in venture mode facing acute financial problems.
The school has not received funding from the government to run a secondary level higher, “he added.
He said most students were children of milk.
“So, the school situation has forced parents to receive such a telephone.
This will help school authority and secure the academic future of students,” he added.
The cooperative community recently handed over a check for RS 1 lakh to school.
Student guards also urged the government to open vocational courses in the school field.
The school authority has been grateful to move from the cooperative community for its support to run a higher secondary part by saying this has happened as a big relief.
