New Delhi: Minister of Jaisankar’s external affairs on Friday talked with his colleagues from Japan and the Netherlands and discussed bilateral bonds and regional problems.
In a tweet, Jaisankar said he had a good conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wopke Hoekstra.
“Wishing he quickly recovered from Covid.
And a happy new year.
Discusses our bilateral cooperation, EU and Indo-Pacific,” Jaisankar tweeted.
They also exchanged views on celebrating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries, he said.
In the discussion with Jaisankar, said Hoekstra on Twitter, “It’s good to talk to @DrsJaishankar.
This year, we celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations, big milestones.
We talk about our strong bilateral agenda, cooperation & UE development in the region.” ” I hope to further strengthen our very good bilateral relationship, “Dutch Foreign Minister said.
Previously, Jaisankar said he was happy to have a new year’s conversation with Japanese colleague Hayashi Yoshimasa.
“Discussing the Covid situation, travel facilitation, bilateral, quad, Myanmar and North Korea projects,” Jaishankar said.
Hope to celebrate 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Japan in the appropriate way, he said on Twitter.
