New Delhi: Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday held pre-budget stakeholder consultations with BJP leaders and professionals, business leaders, academics and economists related to the party.
Representatives from 25 BJP State Units participated in virtual discussions, said the party in a consultation statement was also attended by national leaders, Secretary General of the Arun Singh Party, Vice President Baijayant Panda and Gopal spokesman Krisan Garwal, among others.
Some of the leading think-tank members and presidents of various BJP wings also present their views and suggestions.
About 20 written submissions have been accepted and this will be compiled and submitted to the Minister of Finance, a statement issued by Agarwal.
Sitharaman thanked all official officials on their advice, he said.
