Islamabad: Pakistani Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid on Tuesday reiterated the police claim that the Afghan Ambassador was not kidnapped even when he urged him to advance and joined the probe, in a deteriorating case between the two relationships between the two neighbors.
His statement came a day after the police in Islamabad said that they did not find evidence that Silsila Alikhil, the 26-year-old daughter of the Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Najibullah Alikhil, was kidnapped from the capital, an incident that has triggered majors.
Diplomatic lines between two neighboring countries.
The minister told the media that he used four different taxis to go to a different location in Islamabad and neighboring Rawalpindi and the police had all the details of his trip.
“No one was sitting in his car.
There were no kidnapping cases.
We have given contemporations according to the law.
And hope that he will join the probe and advance to recognize the four tax drivers whose vehicles are used on that day,” Rashid said.
, He said that the Pakistani government against his case but would be better if the Afghan ambassador and his daughter had not returned.
The minister said that the complete recording and other relevant details were given to foreign offices that would decide whether to share it with diplomatic communities in Islamabad.
The daughter of Ambassador Alikhil was kidnapped, tortured, and was attacked on Friday by unknown people in Islamabad.
He was kidnapped while driving a rental vehicle and held for several hours before being released.
He was found near the Capital F-9 park area with a sign of torture on his body.
Incidents of kidnapping and attack have deteriorated relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
On Sunday, the diplomatic crisis between the two countries was deepening after Kabul announced that it would withdraw its ambassador and other senior staff from Islamabad.
Pakistan also summoned his dubsador to Afghanistan for “consultation” to the alleged kidnapping and exemption of the Afghan envoy’s messenger.
Meanwhile, Rashid said that Pakistan will accept the decision of the Afghan people about the formation of the government in Kabul and Pakistan ready to deal with any type of fall.
“More than 90 percent of the fence on the Afghan border has been carried out and there is no fear because our troops and security institutions are on our side the border to handle any situation,” he said.
On a separate question, he said that Pakistan had completed the probe into a recent deadly bomb blast that targets Chinese workers in the northwest of the country and the Chinese government is fully satisfied with him.
Rashid said that Pakistan faced “Hybrid warfare” as evidenced by the time of various incidents recently.
He said that the incident of the bombing in Lahore (in front of the House of Mumbai Terror Attack Mastermind and Jalam-Dawa Sayeed) occurred before the main meeting of the arrangement of financial action assignments (FATF), anti-power based in Paris -Money Laundering Watchdog.
The Minister of Home Affairs said that targeting the explosion of Chinese workers occurred before the meeting of high-level Pakistani and Chinese officials and the alleged kidnapping of the Afghan Ambassador’s duties occurred before the peace conference, Pakistan was scheduled to host.
Rashid said that Pakistan would handle all threats and continue to move forward despite security challenges.
Pakistan and Afghanistan often accused the accusation, with Kabul claiming Islamabad sent thousands of militants to fight in a torn war and provide a safe place for the Taliban.
Pakistan, in turn, claimed that Harbor Afghanistan, the Pakistani Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistani group – Pakistani Taliban – and also the Balochistan Liberation Forces were secessionist.
Afghanistan had seen the uptick in violence after the announcement of US President Joe Biden about the withdrawal of US troops and NATO from the torn country of war.
