Trichy: The administrative minister of the city of K Nehru on Tuesday believes to make an effort to form the Siddha government medical government in Trichy.
Inaugurating the Siddha exhibition on the campus of the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Memorial Hospital (MGMGH), Nehru said he would take the demands of several people for the third government of Siddha Medical College in the state.
“The effort will be taken to have an announcement of the Government of Siddha Medical College in Trichy in the governor’s speech in the assembly on January 5 or will be mentioned in the demands for the Grant of the Department of Family Welfare,” Nehru said.
The Department of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy held a three-day event because Siddha Day to mark the birth star ‘Ayilyam’ Siddhar Agasthiyar.
The event will see its peak on the day ‘Ayilyam’ star on December 23.
The Ayush Ministry, the Indian government approved Agasthiyar’s birthday observation as a ‘siddha day’ every year.
It was the fifth celebration at a government hospital in Trichy.
