The Minister warned ‘police in legal action crimes

Bengaluru: Minister of Home Karnataka Araga Jnanendra on Wednesday warned strict legal action against police personnel involved in crime and related violations.
He said it could not be tolerated that the police, who were responsible for maintaining law and order in the community together by protecting public life and property, was seen indulging in incidents related to crime.
Noted that there were more than one lakh police personnel in the state, Jnanendra in a statement said, “Because of the wrong activities of several choices, the negative impression was created about the entire department, in the public’s mind.

The Minister of Home Statement came in the background of the recent arrest from two policemen stated for the security of Karnataka Minister Karnataka Basavaraj Bommai’s personal residence in Bengaluru, for allegedly trying to extort money from drug vendors.
Appointing the incident, Jnanendra completed officials who identified and took legal action against those involved, and said that direction had been given to facilitate them with the appropriate appreciation.
