New Delhi: The Ministry of Sport is set to submit the trophy physically to all the national sports award winners last year during a function in Ashoka Hotel on November 1.
According to a sports ministry official, all the 2020 winners have done it received cash award but now they will be presented with their trophies and quotes during the event.
Last year, the National Sports Award ceremony was held virtually due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The National Sports Award is given on August 29 every year on the occasion of national sports days, celebrated at the birth of the birth of the Major Dhyan Chand Hockey Wizard.
National Sports Award includes the Major Chand Khel Ratna award (previously Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna), Arjuna Award, Dronacharya Award, Dhyan Chand award, among others.
