The Ministry of Education issued SOP to reopen schools in Uttrakhand from August 2

New Delhi: The Ministry of Education Uttarakhand has issued a standard operating procedure (SOP) for reopening schools in the state of August 2 for grade 9-12 students and from August 16 to 6-8 classes.
“All schools have been asked to strictly follow the protocol and Covid-19 class will function in two shifts where the number of students is higher”, the Uttrakhand Education Minister Arvind Pandey tweeted.

The order also said that before school opening, all classrooms, laboratories, libraries, toilets, drinking water, etc.
Places such as students’ physical movements and teachers take place, must be thoroughly cleaned.
A nodal officer must be nominated by the school concerned, which will be responsible for compliance with the guidelines related to the Social Distance Protocol and Covid.
If there are students or other teachers or school staff show symptoms of cough, cold, or fever, they will be sent back home after giving first aid.
SOP order said, if the infection situation appears among students, teachers, and other school staff, then the principle concerned and Nodal officers will immediately notify the district government or the Ministry of Health.
