Jaipur: The Ministry of Finance has stopped education rights (RTE) for 50,000 private schools of the state citing that schools are closed due to pandemic and bills cannot be removed without verifying if the regular online class is done.
The state government must pay more than RS 300 Crore to a private school under the RTE.

When the school remains closed in the 2020-21 session, and students are made to study online.
The Ministry of Finance has asked the government to make a complete plan and verify the quality of education based on which funds to be released and the payment mode will be decided.
Meanwhile, Jaipur District Education Officers, Jagdish Meena said they had cleared the file and sent it to higher authorities and immediately the bill would be cleaned.
The Rajasthan government has claimed that it will do a physical verification of at least 25% of schools to check whether online classes continue to release a budget.
The school was asked to fill out the form.
However, most schools were found to provide false information students say officials at the Bikaner Directorate, added that it proved that online classes were not held.
Then, the government decided to take a written statement that online classes were carried out by private schools and decided to release the budget for all.
This step has now been questioned by the Ministry of Finance.
School President Shiksha Pariwar, Anil Sharma, said, “We have demanded that the budget must be released to help school.
RTE money has been stuck for a long time.
We want the right discussion.
Our money delayed for the last three years must be released.”
