The Ministry of Health sent a central team in nine countries, UTS to help them manage the outbreak of dengue fever

New Delhi: The Ministry of Health UNI on Tuesday is time for the main teams of experts in nine states and union territories to help them provide technical guidance, including public health measures, to manage the dengue fever outbreak.
The move came in the middle of Haryana, Punjab, Kerala, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir noted a large number of cases of dengue fever.
The expert team includes officials from the National Disease Control Center and a national vector-driven disease control program.
“It has been decided by competent authorities to pass the central team to other countries identified to help the state government by providing technical guidance, including public health steps, to manage the ongoing dengue fever outbreak,” the office note sent to Secretary of the Chief Secretary (Health) and Director General of Health Services from nine countries and the Union region.
Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday has directed the Secretary of the Union Health to identify and send the experts to countries with the case of actively bloody fever when he reviewed the dengue situation in Delhi to control and disease management.
More than 1,530 cases of dengue fever have been reported in Delhi this year so far, where almost 1,200 is recorded in October alone, the highest number for this month in the last four years.
