Gurgaon: 56,427 people who have taken the first dose of Covishield before June 30 have not taken their second shot well after a scheduled gap 84 days.
The Ministry of Health said it would track each of these recipients to ensure they stopped again.
“We have prepared recipient data due to their second shot.
Our medical officers will call them.
We have also asked private hospitals to check with those who do not appear for the second dose,” said Dr.
Virender Yadav, Chief Medical Officer, Gurgaon.
There are 52 Covid Vaccination centers (CVCS) in 36 primary health care centers in Gurgaon.
Of these, five CVCs with the maximum number of missing cases were Bhora Kalan (3,135), Bhangrola (2,270), Kasan (2,421), Farrukhnagar (2,379) and Pataudi (2,243).
“If these people take their second dose elsewhere, they will be asked to share evidence on WhatsApp so that their names can be removed from the list,” he added.
The Ministry of Health will create special sessions to vaccinate others.
The Ministry of Health is also looking to increase vaccination with a series of steps, including establishing camps in Mandis, post offices, retirement offices, registry offices, banks and places of worship.
Health officials will also call the Resident (RWAS) welfare association to check the status of vaccination.
The city on Thursday will vaccinate at 10 government session sites – six for Covaxin, three for covishield and one for sputnik.
On Wednesday, 21,484 people in the age group 18-44 and 4,100 were in the 45-plus category vaccinated.
In all, 25,645 Jab – 11,761 first dose and 13,884 second dose – given.

Tally now stands at 1.81.160, where 34 is an active case.

Six people also recovered, bringing the total recovery to 1,80,203.
The current recovery rate is 99.6%.
As many as 32 patients were in a house isolation while two were in the hospital.
