The missing natural feeling is in a world class event: Neeraj Chopra

New Delhi: It was mentioned as one of the strongest bets of India for the Olympic medal, the star Javelin Thrower Neeraj Chopra on Sunday said the buildup for the match had been quite challenging considering the lack of competitive exposure but he tried to stay positive for the great events.
Chopra said he had missed the “natural feeling” on the world class field, except for one occasion, in running the game open on July 23.
Once was a quortane game event in Finland on June 26 where he won bronze with a performance of 86.79m on a star-studded field consisting of, among others, Gold German Johannes Vetter Olympics, who won the event with a large throw of 93.59 million.
“I have new experiences in Finland.
During run-up, I feel the real experience of top-level competition, the type of natural feeling that gives you the best performance comes after you take part in many world-class events,” Chopra said from the training bases in Upsala, Sweden during online interactions.
“For me, it’s the only time,” he added.
Talking about the challenges that came with restrictions that began to apply because of the Pandemic Covid-19, Chopra said he had tried to remain positive.
“I don’t get a good international competition when I want and there must be some changes in the training schedule and competition.” But, I was in a positive frame of mind because a lot depends on the performance of the day.
I only hope to give the best and realize my dream to win gold for the country.
“Chopra, who has pulled out from June 13 Diamond League in Gateshead due to a visa problem, has taken part in three international events since June.
10.
He will not participate in the competition again before traveling to Tokyo on July 26.” Get a British visa ( To participate in the Gateshead) it was difficult for Indians because of the Covid-19 situation in India.
So, I decided to skip the Diamond League.
There is no time for the competition now.
“I can have an intensity training for a week again.
After that I will have light training.” He said he focused on increasing his technique.
“Performance in Finland is also not the best, there is a technical problem, the height of Javelin is a problem.
Javelin I can’t reach the venue that day and I can’t use it.
I have to use another javelin.” In Asian games and Commonwealth games, the javelin height is a problem even though I won gold in both.
I’m trying to reduce the height of the javelin so that it can travel a further distance.
