Guwahati: In the middle of the ongoing border tension with Assam, the Mizoram Limit Committee on Friday decided that he intended to protect “our land when it was occupied by an ancestor of our abilities” and asked Mizoram to solidarity and support them.
The Committee said that it was committed to continuing his attitude that the “Limit Mizoram-Assam desired resolved” based on the line in 1875, which was the first practice to attract the limit of Lushai Hills, now Mizoram, from Plains, from Plains, from Plains, from Plains Cachar below Bengal East Border Regulations in 1873.
In 1933, the colonial ruler held further demarcation into the district based on culture, linguistics and tribal and carving the Lushai Hills district and Cachar District.
Mizoram followed the demarcation of 1875 as carried out in consultation with the Mizo tribal chef and refused demarcation of 1933 which said that the tribal head was not consulted later.
However, Mizoram was declared the unity area in 1972 and a country in 1987 based on Demarcation of 1933 and Assam since then has participated in this demarcation, which leads to disputes.
The Committee approved the actions taken by the government on border problems and urged the state government to continue to take troubled steps.
“When border problems are established with ethnic problems, it is our request for the people they remain united in this matter, and show fortitude in dealing with discomfort arising from the situation.
This is our attraction to the Mizo people not to create difficulties.
For non-Mizo residents in the state due to current border problems, “the committee decided.
The Mizoram government is the limit commission on July 23 to overcome the demarcation of the Border of the State with Assam with Deputy Chief of the Minister of Tawnluia as Chair of the Minister of Home Lalchamliana as Deputy Chairperson.
The commission believes that border problems cannot be resolved through power tools and thus, this problem must be resolved through mutual dialogue and deliberation and strongly condemning “Assam police attacks to the Mizoram Police Station at 26.07.
2021, many exceed their numbers and open fire.
In the past, the committee expressed was deep sadness over “unfortunate but unfortunate incident, where a number of people lost their lives and many injured.” The Committee also argues that memorandum to establish a limit commission for resolution, restrictions, and demarcation between Mizoram and Assam, which is generally signed by all political party presidents, all NGO and JAC presidents, in 2018 will be revised and modified as needed.
