Nagpur: Covid case fell 45% in October in the district after increasing with the same percentage in September despite a slight difference in the positivity rate (TPR) test from the two months.
TPR for October was 0.15% with more than 97,000 tests carried out on the month.
In September, TPR reached 0.18% for more than 1.45 lakh tests.
October recorded 154 cases, which marginal more than 145 August – the lowest after April 2020.
There was no Covid death in the city in October.
Fatality alone from the district is a 53-year-old comorbid woman registered at an address in Nagpur countryside.
The deceased, who was partially vaccinated, was taken to a private hospital from Gadchiroli on October 18.
