WhatsApp finally launched one of the most requested features of its users – the ability to move the history of the WhatsApp chat across the platform (cellular operating system).
Facebook owned company made an announcement at the Galaxy Samsung that was not dismantled today (August 11).
The option to move the history of the WhatsApp chat from an Android phone to the Apple iOS device and vice versa first came to Samsung’s cellphone, starting with a new Samsung Galaxy folding cellphone – Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Flip 3.
Users around the world start using this feature on Samsung devices who run Android 10 or higher in the coming weeks.
What exactly features all about WhatsApp gives users the ability to move all of their WhatsApp chat history – including voice records, photos and conversations – when they change different cellphones in the operating system.
This means that users no longer need to worry if they change the smartphone and switch are between two different operating systems.
Because the feature ensures that users will be able to switch between their chosen platforms, and don’t lose their WhatsApp history.
This means that Apple iPhone users who want to move to Samsung’s new folding phones don’t need to worry about losing their WhatsApp history because they moved Apple iOS to the Google Android operating system.
Because they can transfer all their chat smoothly across the platform now.
This feature will be available for Android and iOS system users – which means that people will be able to switch from Android to iOS, and from iOS to Android.
It will begin launching Android at first, and on the latest Samsung Galaxy phones as mentioned above.
To start, users will be able to take their history of WhatsApp from Apple iOS to an Android device, and in the coming days will be able to do the same on the Apple iOS device (from an Android device to Apple iPhone).
Whatsapp so far does not make it clear when features will be launched to other Android devices.
This feature will be available on Android smartphones running on Android 10 or higher.
