SRINAGAR: The Chinar Army Corps has entered the MoU with the Indrani Balan Foundation (IBF) on Tuesday for the “financial sustainability” of five schools run in Kashmir.
These include four Goodwill Army (AGS) schools in Barub, Dawar, Balatur and Behibagh in Kupwara, Shopian and Kulgam District and Goodwill Public School (AGPS) Pahalgam in Kashmir.
The event was led by Lieutenant Gen D.P.
Pandey, Goc Chinar Corps along with Punit Balan and Jahanvi Dhariwal from the Indrani Balan Foundation.

IBF, the foundation of active welfare in various philanthropic work throughout India.
“The Foundation under the Law Balan has extensive experience of social work in the fields of education, health and exercise, which will contribute greatly in improving the quality of education and the sustainability of these schools in the future,” the army said.
“In addition, the foundation has built new infrastructure for the Pariwarawan School community for Baramulla children specifically RS support.

Earlier in 2021, Corps Chinar has signed a MoU similar to IBF for the financial sustainability of five agss Uri, Wayne, Trehgam and concerns in Baramulla and Kupwara District for five years.
Chinar Corps is currently running 28 schools of Goodwill soldiers in Kashmir, who educate more than 10,000 students every year.
